Delete your Bitsitter account

This page explains how to request the deletion of your account in the Bitsitter app, developed by Artisan di Domenico Mecca, and what happens to your data.

From the app

1. Open the Bitsitter app and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Profile > Settings > Delete account.
3. Confirm the request.

You are signed out right away and your profile is no longer visible to other users.

Data we delete

• Your account and sign-in credentials, including Firebase sign-in.
• Your profile data: name, photo, description, location and phone number.
• Your gallery photos.
• Your ads and meeting requests.
• Your chats and in-app notifications.
• The device tokens used for push notifications.

Your profile is hidden immediately; all the data listed above is permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.

Data we keep

• Payment and billing data: kept for 10 years to meet the tax and accounting obligations required by law. Payments made through the App Store or Google Play are handled directly by Apple and Google.
• Email address: kept in an exclusion list, to prevent abuse and to respect your wish not to receive further communications.

Delete only some of your data

You can delete your profile photo and gallery photos directly from the app without deleting your account. To delete other specific data, write to [email protected].
